Pattie Murray is an Australian Ceramic Artist, working with Southern Ice Porcelain. All pieces are created at her studio in the northern suburbs of Brisbane. With a love of fossils and fossilized structures, printmaking, text, traditional paper-making, book binding processes, textures and the natural environment.

Pattie has a Diploma of Visual Arts and has exhibited at Fusions Gallery, Brisbane as part of the "TEXT" exhibition alongside Ronelle Clarke, Jill Cuthbertson, Kylie Johnson, Wendy Hatfield-Witt, Wendy McIntyre, Tania Murray and Darren O'Brien. Also, Pattie was invited to be part of the "Ceramic Journeys" exhibition at Fusions showcasing past, current and present Ceramic students from Southbank including Mel Robson, Shannon Garson, Pru Morrison, Irene Brown, Ky Curran, and Em Trigg.

Recently, she has diverted from primarily functional porcelain and etched works and has created beautiful porcelain Christmas decorations, a range of jewellery including thrown bangles, functional teaspoons together with stylish buttons of varying sizes.

Pattie has work on display at the Pine Rivers Art Gallery and joins fellow contemporaries for the annual exhibitions at Merlo's, Southbank.

As a member of the local North Pine Country Potters, Pattie conducted a Shellac-textural workshop, which was highly successful.
